International Booker Prize Shortlist
The International Booker Prize Shortlist was released this week. When the Longlist was released a few weeks ago, I promised I would flag this to you as soon as it came out, and I always keep my promises.
I’m really excited about the selections here. Amongst others, we have an epic, following three generations of Korean rail workers, a debut novel from a Brazilian author about subsistence farmers in the quilombo communities, and a non-linear story about a feverish, bedridden woman revisiting lost and forgotten memories from her youth.
